This beautiful little moth decided that my glass door would be a great place to lay her eggs. It was a perfect place for me to get close up to her, without disturbing her. Her gorgeous little face and underbelly - something we don't get to see everyday - is so textured, detailed & fascinating. Have you ever seen the underside of a moth? She then laid a perfect little string of eggs and left. A few days later they had all hatched into tiny little worms and left too.

This photograph captures a rare, trusted moment of stillness between subject and observer—a beautiful fragment of the natural world that I will always treasure."

A local family co-existing with me while I lived in their forest. This is Cheeky and her daughter Venus

As a guide, I had seen this wild white rhino many times and suspected the birth was not far away. Still, nothing prepared me for rounding a bend and finding her at that exact moment.

We switched off the engine immediately and sat in silence. There was nothing to say. Just a mother bringing new life into the world while her other calf stood nearby. A few moments later, a new rhino entered the bush.

Over the months that followed, I watched that calf grow, play, and thrive. In a species facing so many challenges, witnessing the beginning of a life and then seeing it flourish remains one of the greatest privileges in the wild.
