LIVE ONLINE TRAINING WEBINAR: Become a Wildlife First Responder
June 30 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Live Online Wildlife First Responder Training
Wild animals often need help long before they reach a rehabilitation centre. The first person on the scene can make a life-saving difference, but only if they know what to do, what not to do, and who to call for expert help.
This live online training session teaches you how to become a wildlife first responder and support wildlife in your community with calm, informed action.
You will learn how to assist members of the public when they find wildlife in distress, how to recognise signs of pain, stress, shock, and common medical emergencies, and how to reduce the risk of well-meaning but harmful intervention.
You will also learn how to help prevent the unnecessary removal of healthy wildlife from nature, such as fledglings, young animals, or displaced wildlife that may not need rescue at all.
This is a key part of ethical wildlife response, as every unnecessary removal places pressure on already stretched permitted rehabilitation centres.
By joining the training, you will become part of a growing network of volunteer wildlife first responders, with real-time support and guidance from permitted wildlife rehabilitators. You will also help gather valuable rescue and incident data that can strengthen community awareness, guide education campaigns, and improve outcomes for wildlife.
This webinar is ideal for animal lovers, veterinarians, vet nurses and clinic staff, domestic animal rescue volunteers, estate managers, field guides, nature-based businesses,
security teams, educators, and anyone who wants to help wildlife in a practical and responsible way.
Come and learn how to be the bridge between the public, the animal in distress, and the permitted experts who can give that wild life the best possible chance.
